Peake Social Kickball WEEK 2A

Hey Everyone!

We are really hoping to get games in tonight, but because it’s Thursday, it looks like more rain. Be on the lookout for an email and social media post later only if games are cancelled; if you don’t hear otherwise, we’re playing!

Schedules: We will let you all know soon about rescheduling games from last week. For now we have put them at the end of the schedule. This may change, and we may have to add in some double headers if the rain continues to be a factor. We also have official word that the league will be moving to Wednesdays starting 4/27/22. The fields and game times will remain the same.

Host Bar: Tonight’s host bar is Stan and Joe’s. They will be running a special for 5 White Claws for $20.

Rules: Because we have only really had one week, a few key rule reminders:

• Sliding is allowed. Be mindful of the base player, if they are blocking the baseline, we will make the judgment call and award the runner the base. Sliding dangerously into a player is an automatic out.

• Players must run to the orange base to the right of 1st and home plate while the outfield team must tag the white base. One warning per team will be given during tonight’s games, after that it will be an automatic out.

• Teams may not have more than 3 consecutive males kicking in a lineup.

• Please do no argue with the refs and be kind- if you have a question then have your captain talk to them.
